AlNoor was born and raised in Tanzania, East Africa.

He successfully completed the Overseas Cambridge School Certificate Program at the Aga Khan Secondary School. AlNoor went to England for his post secondary education. Upon completion of his schooling, he joined a petroleum refinary construction company in the Cost Management Accounting Department. After three years with the construction company, AlNoor moved to Vancouver, BC in 1974.
